THE PROBLEM WITH MOST MOROCCO TRIPS
You came back feeling like you missed it. You did.
You were moved through a city of 9,000 streets in four hours. The medina is so large that UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site and most visitors leave having seen perhaps two percent of it.
The Sahara camp your tour company booked was thirty metres from the road and audible from the highway. The real Erg Chigaga is three hours of piste beyond the last electricity pole. Most operators don’t go there.
We were founded in Fès in 1994 specifically for people who want to come backand do it properly.
The medina of Fes has 9,000 streets. The standard tour visits six. We know what is behind the locked door at the end of the alley.

Founded in Fès in 1994. Our guides grew up in these medinas. Our families
crossed this Sahara. The difference between a local operator and a foreign one is everything you will not see on abrochure.

In Fès, we arrangea professor from Al-Qarawiyyin University-the world’s oldest institution, founded 859 CE. Two hours of architectural and theological depth that no guidebook has written.

We stay where the booking sites don't reach
Private riads owned by merchant families. A kasbah at 2,100m with no generator. A camp at Erg Chigaga where no other guests are within sight or sound. These cannot be booked anywhere else.
